Storyteller - 7.5oz Candle - Not Our Native Daughters Charity

Storyteller was inspired by my Apache (Mescalero) grandfather who wrote several books and listening to his stories when we'd spend time admiring the family pond or getting a quick cup of coffee (or ice cream as my grandpa has quite the sweet tooth). Storytelling isn't just telling someone something by word of mouth. It is creating an experience and weaving together a story to both teach and entertain your people. It is an art form I deeply respect and have enjoyed learning the art myself.

This candle was made with my ancestors' stories in mind, featuring scents of sacred tobacco and earthy oak. That is why 10% of sales from this candle will be donated to Not Our Native Daughters, a charity that raises awareness of the extremely high rate of violence that native women and two-spirit people face in society.

About our candles:

- 100% soy wax

- Flickering wooden wicks

- Handpoured with love

-Reusable glass jar with gold colored lid

- Net Weight 7.5 oz (212 g)

Candle Care:

- Trim wicks before every use. Trim to 3/16 inch. After the first burn, clip off burned parts of the wick before each use.

- Let burn for 2-4 hours at a time. Do not leave candles unattended especially in areas with drafts or around children or pets.

- Stop burning when there is 1/2 in of wax remaining.

- Soy candles may frost on the top. This occurs naturally and doesn't affect the candle's function or scent.
